Read the story From the Gospel of Luke (Luke 2, 25-32)

Sometime after the birth of Jesus, Mary and Joseph took him to the temple of Jerusalem to present him to God. There was in this city of Jerusalem a very religious old man named Simeon. He had been warned by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God he would not die before seeing the messenger of God, the Messiah that the people waited. When Simeon saw Jesus come to the temple with Joseph and Mary took the child in his arms and said, now let your servant die in peace, Lord, as you said, because my eyes have seen your savior. You've prepared your offer to all peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to thy people Israel.
