Dialogue. Exchange on the theme of kings: What are the kings you read about in fairy tales, cartoons, your readings, information? What is a king? Where does he live? How the subjects of the king spoke to him does he?
Do you know that Jesus is also a king. This is the gospel which tells us by telling us about his birth.

II TIME SPEECH

Read the story According to the Gospel of Matthew.
Jesus was born in Bethlehem in a barn at the time of King Herod the Great. Now, behold, magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the king of the Jews is born? We saw his star and have come to prostrate ourselves before him. "On hearing this, King Herod met the chief priests and ask them in what place was to be born the Messiah. They replied: "In Bethlehem in Judea, because that is what God has promised by the voice of his prophets. Then Herod called the magi secretly and let them indicate when the star had appeared, and then he sent them to Bethlehem, saying: "Go and search diligently for the child. And when you found it, tell me to go, too, to prostrate myself before him. "When they heard the king, they departed. And now the star they had seen at its rising preceded them And it came to rest over the whereabouts of the child. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. On entering the house they saw the infant Jesus with Mary his mother, and falling to their knees, they worshiped him. They opened their treasures and offered him their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. But then, warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they returned home by another way.

Dialogue:
- Mages seek the king of the Jews. Did they find?
- Where was Jesus born? Is the house of a king?
- What makes Jesus different from other kings?

Jesus is a king of love. He came to all men on earth, every race, young or old. For Jesus, each of us is a precious treasure.

III TIME OF THANKSGIVING
With the Magi came from afar, we're moving towards Christmas.
As the Magi came to worship you, we just adore Jesus.
Like the Magi, arms laden with gifts, we offer our heart, Jesus.
Like the Magi filled with joy, we thank you Jesus for the joy of Christmas.

IV TIME OF SENDING
Like the Magi, you too can worship Jesus. Prostrate himself is praying with his whole body. There is little in front of Jesus. He is a king of love. Whenever you enter a church, you will see a small red light on. This means that Jesus is there. Then you can do as you tilt the magi or you kneeling in front of this little light.
